Love in the air

Even in the hot and blistering sun, Lolita and Leo are cool and cuddly. I was excited to photograph the newly engaged couple in front of my favorite red wall down in Bowness. The dogs weren't as excited because it was HOT ! Hot enough to make an English bull dog fall flat in the shade.

I love FILM !

It has been years since I have taken any pictures in film. Digital has become a part of my life and I really enjoy the wonders of the digital image but I was raised on film and there will always be a love for the process. I pulled out the hasselblad for a wedding in the spring and I was a bit worried that I was too reliant on the fast pace of the digital camera but it was like working with a long lost friend. I love the sound of this camera ! KAaChic ! We made some beautiful images. It was hard finding a reliable film processing place that would do black and white 120 film and the wait was even more excruciating but here they are. Enjoy.
