3. Photo Daddy-O: a course just for the dudes! Instruction includes basic camera operation as well as flash, lighting and editing need-to-knows!

4. Compact Camera: just because you only own a 'normal' camera, it does not mean that you cannot take stunningly brilliant photos as well.

Romania makes me laugh. She wants me to make her family of four look beautiful. Take a look at this family and you will see that they are gorgeous and need nothing but a nutty photographer to get them laughing and comfortable. Ryden and Rayna are so comfortable in front of the camera that you would think the camera is always pointed at them. Those that know Romania know that she will drive off the road to get a picture of her little ones with the iphone. : )

Starting in May, I will be teaching digital photography workshops specifically for moms and dads. Each workshop will be 3 hours and designed to help take better pictures of you kids and families. Kachur girls are growing up.

For the last 4 years, I have been photographing the Kachur girls, well only the oldest three since Jolie is the newest addition. How fun ! 4 Girls giggling, smiling, posing, chattering, crying, laughing and being super cute. I love watching them grow and updating me with the newest things in their lives. I love my job.

Own a great camera and don’t know what to do with it? Or want to learn about photography but have no clue. This is your course. This class has been designed for the promising photography who has very little or no knowledge of camera operations and terms. The lessons are slow placed and translated into simple and understandable terms.

TOPICS COVERED

– Learning your camera’s controls

– How to use shutter speeds and aperture

– How to use the built in meter; metering methods

– ISO, White Balance, Focus

– Determining your exposure

– Composition

– What to do with the images in the camera and how to print.

FORMAT:

Absolute Beginners Session includes 4 hours of in class instruction in total.

PRE-REQ’s:

Digital SLR or any point & shoot camera that can shoot in manual mode (”M”).
