In addition to my photography, I have been busy making digital books and canvases through Heritage Makers (www.jchuphotobooks.com). The O'Kane photo shoot was done last month for the intentions on making large canvases of each of the kids. (I will post the pictures of the series in a future blog). As I am reading this blog, I just realized that I am not a blog person. I find it hard to talk about the photographs because my entire purpose in photography is to create images that speak for themselves. Sounds cliche. So I will talk about Heritage Makers. Go to www.jchuphotobook.com or join my facebook page to see what kind of interesting and fun things you can do with your photographs.

Doug and Kristie are getting married in June. What kind of engagement portraits would hockey loving, Olympic watching, outdoorsy Calgarians want? Skating on a beautiful frosty winter day of course. The day was perfect. The frosty downtown background looked fabulous with the horror frosted trees surrounding Olympic Plaza. So much fun!

Joe and Krista were married right before Christmas of last year. It was a beautiful winter day, chilly for those in dresses but the girls were able to keep warm from the laughs and good times they all had together. This was my first time shooting at the Aero Space Museum and it was a cool place for a reception but tricky for the flash.
All in all, the Chengs and Edels had a great night.

Yeah ! I am finally posting some of the pictures that I did for my friend Connie's fundraiser. There were hundreds of pictures to choose from so I narrowed it down to the ones that made me smile and laugh (my motto for photography). The fundraiser was a huge success and I am so grateful that so many families participated to the cause. Thanks again to everyone.

It seems that I have been neglecting the blog posts due to all the shooting right now. I have recently dedicated my time into shooting portraits to raise funds for a friend. I have met so many wonderful families during this time and I would like to thank you all for participating. Enjoy the photos.
